On Thursday afternoon, February 24, 2000, the clothed body of Linda Fields was found under a tree at the corner of 11th St. and Lake Ave. This location is near Gateway Technical College. Linda died due to strangulation. Police believe that Linda had been killed somewhere else and that she was placed at 11th and Lake Avenue a short time after she became deceased.
